Hajj is an Islamic pilgrimage to the holy city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia, considered one of the Five Pillars of Islam. It is a mandatory religious duty for Muslims who are physically and financially capable of undertaking the journey, to perform it at least once in their lifetime. The pilgrimage occurs annually during the Islamic month of Dhu al-Hijjah, specifically between the 8th and 12th days.
